House Fire 6/22/ 2010
Haleyville Fire/Rescue responded to this structure fire on Hwy 241 in Marion County at approximately 9:45 a.m. on Tuesday June 22nd. The house recieved major damage but several personal items were saved from the house. In addition to battling the blaze firefighters were faced with temperatures in the upper 90's with a heat index of over 100. Responding units and agencies included: Pumper 1, Tanker 5, Rescue 1,Bear Creek Fire & Rescue, Delmar Fire Department, Pebble Fire Department, Sunny Home Fire Department, Brilliant Fire Department, Regional Paramedical Services and REA Power.
