Tanker 5
Tanker 5 is a 2010 Pierce Contender tanker built on an 2009 International Chassis Tanker 5 carries 3000 gallons of water and has a 750 gpm pump. Tanker 5 also has a 3000 gallon folding drop tank. Tanker 5 will respond in areas with limited water supply and first due on mutual aid requests. The purchase of Tanker 5 was made available through a $200,000 grant from the FEMA/DHS Assistance to Firefighter Grant program in round one of the 2009 grants.
