Truck 4
is a Brush/Quick Attack truck. It is a 2012 Ford F-550 4x4 with a 12 ft rescue body. The truck carries 300 gallons of water and has a 360 gpm pump. It replaced Tanker-4. The truck is a multi purpose truck and carries the Jaws of Life and other vehicle extrication and rescue equipment as well as medical gear and equipment to fight grass & woods fires. Truck 4 will be used for automobile accidents, medical calls as well as grass and woods fires. The total cost was $127,000 and was made possible through a 95/5 matching grant that was awarded on August 19th, 2011 in round 28 of the 2010 FEMA Assistance To Firefighter's Grant Program. Truck 4 was delivered and placed into service on Tuesday April 24th, 2012.
